Apple Pie Stuffed Dates

These apple pie stuffed dates are the perfect treat or snack for entertaining. Caramel-like dates are filled with cinnamon spiced SweeTango apples and topped with streusel and a cinnamon whipped topping. It's all the nostalgia of a classic dessert in a perfect bite.Â

Ingredients
Apple Pie Filling
- 1 SweeTango® apple, peeled and cored
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 8 Joolies Fresh Medjool Dates
Streusel Topping
- ¼ cup oats
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped almonds
- 1 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Cinnamon Whipped Cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions

Chop the apple into small pieces and add to a saucepan with cinnamon and maple syrup.

Stir over medium heat until the apple pieces are soft and tender. Set aside to cool while you cut the dates in half and take out the pits.

To prepare the streusel topping, add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until well combined.

Fill each date with about a tablespoon of the apple pie filling and top with streusel.

Airfry at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes, until the streusel is golden.

While the dates are baking, prepare the whipped cream.

Add the heavy cream, maple syrup, and cinnamon to a bowl and whisk vigorously until the cream reaches stiff peaks.

Let the dates cool slightly then top with a spoonful of whipped cream and enjoy!
